BCAB Advanced White Water Safety and Rescue

North Wales and Scotland based courses 

 

This two day course covers all the elements needed to make decisions and develop rescue techniques needed to fix the common eventualities experienced in the advanced white water environment. This includes elements like accessing, rope work and equipment. This is a formal training course following the syllabus set by BCAB (British Canoeing Awarding Body) and counts as a pre-requisite for Advanced White Water Leader Assessment. 

 

Pre-requisites include 

White Water safety or similar (Rescue 3 courses for example)

 

Cost £230 per person and includes registration fees and water fees
